Three years ago, I entered the world of public radio with only a journalism degree and background in print. But a news internship at St. Louis Public Radio in 2017 paved the way for me to become the radio producer I am now – and there’s no going back. After working my way up, I’ve spent three years as a producer for the station’s daily talk show, St. Louis on the Air.
My experience at St. Louis Public Radio afforded me scriptwriting and audio-editing skills to add to my writing background. I’ve booked and produced wide-ranging segments about politics, history, science, technology, music and culture. I fill-in to host segments and St. Louis Public Radio’s Too Much News live Twitch stream as needed. I push out St. Louis on the Air’s programming daily via Twitter, Facebook, Buffer, and Instagram.
